"No answers" in Stack Exchange terms means no upvoted answers. The fact that the existing answers haven't been upvoted means that no one else thinks that they are good answers so the system encourages other people to try to provide a better one.

A fix for this has been pushed out and should be applied by the next build. Now there should be a simple current year added there.

Some more info: A profile run when reloading the newest questions list shows that 1.7 to 2 seconds is spent in sidebar/ which calls d which calls f during which the fps drops to 0: version 37.0.2
